A language is a system of communication which consists of a set of sounds and written symbols which are used by the people of a particular country or region for talking or writing. Language is defined as a system of human communication, including spoken, written, and nonverbal modes of interaction. The language of a piece of writing or speech is the style in which it is written or spoken. Language skills Skills relate to different aspects of using language; such as listening, reading, writing or speaking. The four skills of language (also known as the four skills of language learning) are a set of four capabilities that allow an individual to comprehend and produce spoken language for proper and effective interpersonal communication. These skills are Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. It includes the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing; these skills are usually learnt in that order by anyone who wants to learn a new language. Listening is one of the most important communication skills that we can acquire because it's the primary way that we develop relationships, understand others, and build trust.
